How We Roast Coffee

At Qavé, every roast is crafted in an oxygen-free environment to unlock a cleaner, richer flavour. Guided by years of expertise, our roast profiles are carefully developed to bring out the best in every bean — whether bold and powerful or smooth and gentle.

Roasting with Direct Heat

At Qavé, green beans are carefully measured and drawn into our roasters, where hot air and precision paddles ensure an even roast. With direct heat control, we can make instant adjustments for consistency and flavour. Unlike traditional drum roasting, our method delivers cleaner, more accurate results — every single time.

Thorough Roast

Since we don’t use a heated drum, our method avoids burning the surface of the beans. Instead, we rely on convection rather than conduction for even roasting.

Our coffee is roasted all the way through with minimal damage to the bean. The result is a cleaner, smoother taste that stays fresh much longer compared to traditional roasting methods.

Precision Blending & Smart Tracking

Each coffee is blended to a carefully designed recipe. The process starts as green beans are loaded into the trolley by hand.

Our advanced software enables full traceability, following every coffee back to its farm of origin. This ensures complete transparency and accountability throughout the journey from farm to cup.
